I was involved in the design & CAD draughting of M+E Building Services Installations and duties included the design of pipe and duct sizing calculations, drawing mark-ups for both mechanical & electrical systems, project co-ordination of (M+E services), carry out site surveys and data collection on new and existing mechanical & electrical systems as required, liaise and co- ordinate with client’s other members of the design team and contractors on technical issues and snagging of systems, checking technical queries, generation of as built Drawings, Preparing & evaluation of tender documents i.e. specifications & O&M manuals & Report Writing. Updating of drawings on CAD, attendance at design team meetings & reporting to Project Principal Engineer.

I was involved in the design & draughting of mechanical building services installations, production of detailed workshop drawings for fabrication, issuing out of builder’s work drawings, compilation of O&M manuals, site inspection & supervision, attendance at design team meetings.

I specialised in the design & draughting engineering within the Energy, Industrial Processing Plants & Mining industries. My responsibilities included reporting to project principal engineer, Survey plant and revising all drawings to reflect an "As built" status, inspection & supervision, attending to site queries & providing solutions to queries, co-ordination of services, compilation of equipment submittals, compilation of Tender & Contract completion documents (O&M Manuals) & Report Writing, detailing of PID’s & PFD Flow sheets, production of detailed mechanical fabrication drawings, Volumetric calculations for earthwork projects & training of college students.

Production of river cross section and river long profile drawings.

Since joining HOBA in December 04, I have been involved in a wide range of projects throughout all sectors of the construction industry such as Healthcare, Commercial and Educational from initial concept stage, right through to handover. My main responsibilities includes the design of various electrical systems including MV & LV Power system design, distribution systems, Fire Alarm Systems, General Lighting, Lighting Control, Emergency Lighting, General services design, Security System, Mechanical Plant Design, Power Factor Correction Equipment, Energy Management Audits, Preparing & evaluation of tender documents i.e. specifications, Bill of Quantities, Report Writing, evaluation of tenders, carry out site surveys and data collection on new and existing electrical systems as required, Project coordination (M+E services), liaise and co- ordinate with client’s other members of the design team and contractors on technical issues, snagging of systems & also giving regular feedback to the Project Design Manager.

* Responsibilities includes deliverables of P&ID developments * Block Wiring Diagrams * Instrument Installation Layouts, De-installation layouts * QA audits of drawings before Issuing For Construction * Site surveys * Compilation of Instrument list and instrument datasheets * Updating of the Drawing Matrix * Management of PMD wirelist * Update of Network wirelist, * Update of I/O allocation matrix, * Update & modify Sequence Of Operation manuals (SOO). * Respond to Request For Information queries (RFI). * Review of Equipment Submittals. * Attend to design team coordination meetings & Design Verification (DV) walks with other disciplines. * Carry out duties as delegated by Design Manager for the (Instrumentation & Controls) department for this HI-TECH semiconductor Industry and based at Intel Site.

*  Compiling electrical MV/LV, ELV, 110V DC, PMS & BMS cable schedules. *  Material take-offs i.e. cable quantity estimate. *  Electrical & Instrumentation Services coordination. *  Attend to weekly design team meetings. *  Preparation of distribution boards technical submittals. *  Procurement of distribution boards & keep records of proposed delivery dates of same. *  Seek to clarify queries with Design team through the request for information (RFI) system. *  Organise daily cable pull sheets & recording of progress. *  Update Construction & record drawings using CAD.
