As a Procurement Specialist at Smart Q (A Compass Group Company), I play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of procurement activities to support the company’s operations and strategic objectives. Responsible for managing end-to-end procurement of raw materials, mechanical and electrical spares, operational consumables, and services, ensuring seamless alignment with CAPEX and OPEX budgets for projects and operations. Played a pivotal role in supporting the successful implementation of the SAP MM module, which significantly enhanced the TAT (Turnaround Time) for converting PR to PO. Oversight of the complete Procure-to-Pay cycle is ensured using SAP MM and Ariba, optimizing workflows to boost efficiency and achieve cost savings. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, and logistics, ensures procurement strategies align with broader organizational objectives.
