At the time, tempered or safety glass was relatively unknown in the industry and most shower doors were made with wire and/or laminate glass that had to be manually cut and fitted for the framed shower door. Through the '70s & '80s, business thrived throughout the New England area and grew into a regional brand. After his retirement in the '90's, Manny's sons carried the family business forward, with Michael leading the original Long Island location and Steve leading a national growth plan by opening additional manufacturing facilities, tempering plants and distribution in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Virginia.
