Pump Industry Australia (PIA) is Australia’s peak national body representing the pump industry in all sectors from pump manufacturers, distributors, consultants, designers and installers through to retailers and end users. As a not-for-profit organisation, the primary aim of PIA is to: - promote the growth fof the Pump Industry throughout Australia - promote both national and international recognition for the technical ability, skill and product quality of Australian pumping systems and related products - provide information and support to members and encourage the ongoing development of our Industry to meet the demands of the Australian market. PIA endeavours to be a value-adding resource to members and pump users nationally by: - Developing and delivering comprehensive industry standards - Expanding knowledge by providing education and tools for the effective application, testing, installation, operation and maintenance of pumps and pumping systems - Serving as a forum for the exchange of industry information Membership is open to all companies and individuals whose primary business is the manufacture, distribution, design or installation of pumps and pumping systems. Membership is also available to companies involved in the manufacture of motors, seals, component parts and other related equipment for ultimate use in or with pumps as an Associate.
