Working as a Research Assistant in the Petrology and Geochemistry Laboratory under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mughal, with a focus on the practical and academic applications of geological sciences. My research and technical interests include Economic Geology, Mineral Exploration, Petrography and Mineralogy, Geological Mapping, Geochemistry, Field Sampling, Rock and Mineral Identification, and Geological Data Interpretation. I have actively contributed to laboratory research, geological fieldwork, academic seminars, and research activities, while developing practical expertise in petrographic and geochemical investigations. I have also participated in student-led academic and geological societies, including the Geological Society Kashmir, Geohiking Club, Earth Explorer Club, and Petroleum Club, contributing to scientific learning, field-based activities, and professional development.

During my BS in Applied Geology, with a major focus on Petrology, I gained hands-on experience in geological fieldwork, rock sampling, section measurements, lithological logging, geological sketch mapping, and basic structural analysis. My fieldwork included the Sulaiman, Kirthar, Kohat, Upper Indus, and Lower Indus/Sulaiman basins, including geological studies around the Zinda Pir Anticline. I also developed practical skills in rock sample preparation, petrographic and stereoscopic studies, mineral and rock identification, and basic studies of ores, gemstones, and fossils. I also assisted in PhD research work, supporting field data collection, sample collection, geological measurements, documentation, and research activities.
