-전선용 고무 및 플라스틱 컴파운드 개발 능력 보유 -고무 및 플라스틱 컴파운드 배합/압출 및 유변학적 분석 능력 보유 -기술 특허 및 논문 작성 능력 보유 -광범위한 컴파운드 재료 시험 및 분석 장비 운용 스킬 보유 -Nexans 케이블 화재 시험 관련 IEC 규격 재개정 위원회 소속 ■ Execution of technical excellence • Manage R&D projects for insulation and jacket compounds with cable industries. • Implement compound cost competitiveness and localization projects from worldwide units with APAC (Asia Pacific), Europe and America. • Contribute to group’s intellectual properties such as patent, paper and technical publications. • Develop innovative ideas through trend analysis and tech-watch & assessment processes. • Coordinate cable design and product specification for Shipboard, on & offshore, Mining, Lan, Electrification cables. • Manage prototype cable sample production for newly developed items from start to end. ■ Technical support for worldwide units • Benchmarking for competitor’s cables and external supplier’s compounds by analyzing material characterization (FT-IR, TGA, DSC, XRD, and so on). • Troubleshoot a technical problem with compounding or cable production process. • Support to fire tests for international certification approvals in Nexans Korea (CSA, UL, ETL, VDE, TUV, BV, DNV-GL, LR, ABS etc.). • Train APAC’s engineers and technicians about compounding/extrusion process and fire tests. ■ Strengthening of internal communication network • Involve in Nexans Standard Network (NSN) for fire safety as a group expert on fire tests. • Identify progress of standardization on IEC TC 20 and SC 18A committees as a representative of Nexans in Korea. • Host or participate in Round Robin (RR) on fire tests in order to secure repeatability and reproducibility between group’s testing laboratories by statistics analysis. ■ Strengthening of external communication network • Visit to customer’s technical units to develop customer-oriented R&D projects. • Attend and poster presentations in rubber-, polymer- & rheology-related conferences. ■ Optimization of test laboratories • Manage a new investment testing equipment (RFQ, AR and inspection). • Maintenance and calibration of compounding/extrusion and fire test equipments. • Improve environment and safety of compounding/extrusion and fire test laboratories. • Manage raw materials for compound (MSDS, TDS, REACh and RoHS regulations). ■ Customer service related to technical issue • Check customer complaints about cable technical problems, investigate them, and submit RCA reports.
