Infectious Microbes & Diseases (IMD) is an international open-access peer-reviewed journal that is dedicated to accelerate the dissemination, exchange and utilization of basic, applied and clinical scientific research results related to the field of infectious microbes and infectious diseases. IMD provides a forum where all researchers, clinicians and policymakers can exchange their ideas and learn about the most accomplished and significant advances in the field. Our broad scope ensures that the research published in this journal reaches the widest possible audience with an interest in infectious microbes and diseases. IMD strives for a rapid review process and only publishes manuscripts of outstanding quality. IMD, founded in September 2019, is jointly sponsored by Zhejiang University and its First Affiliated Hospital and published by Wolters Kluwer and Zhejiang University Press. Professor Lanjuan Li, an Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, serves as the Editor-in-Chief. The journal editorial board is composed of more than eighty experts and scholars from the field of infectious diseases all over the world.
