Responsibilities: 1. Drive team to carry out NPD,CPE and OBE design for China and oversea market, local re-design for models which were transferred from home base of Sandvik. 2. Make schedules of design, simulation and stain gauge testing according to project requirements. Distribute working load for team members. Trace and review achievement of work plans. 3. Handle design relative issues of manufacture and assembly. Coordinate with souring, quality and producing teams to resolve these issues. 4. Make guidelines of design, selection, inspection and verification for critical parts. Define standard process of simulation and testing. Define evaluation criterion of simulation and test results. 5. Lead team to design surface drills, underground drills (DTH drill, top hammer drill, rotary drill, tunneling jumbo, bolting jumbo, deep hole drill), underground loaders and flame proof loaders. 6.Drive team to perform mechanical design with UG NX and Team center. Skill of modeling and drafting, familiar with create part number, revise, approve and release process of Team center. 7. Lead team to conduct finite element analysis for steel structures with ANSYS Workbench. Review and optimize the design of products. 8.Guide team to perform strain gages test (in factory and in field) for prototype and complete analysis of testing data with data logger and strain gages. 9. Carry out failure analysis of critical parts(main weld structure, pin…etc.).Propose solutions for improving mechanical design. 10. Familiar with all kind of standards in mechanical industry. Such as drill rig safety standard (EN), steel structure design code (ISO), fatigue design code(IIW)…etc.
