Dec 2005 – Oct 2008 John Deere（Tianjin）R&D Company Position: Strategic Sourcing Specialist Key Responsibilities:  Sourcing suppliers of Metal Fab, Machining and Hardware commodities.  Selecting suppliers with cross functional teams per key matrix (quality sys/capability/capacity/cost)  Negotiating and contracting with suppliers.  Fulfilling initiate mass production order after PPAP with SQE  Supporting Engineering Change Management in time.  Raised and realized VI/VE ideas.  Leading China Hydr & Electr. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sourcing suppliers locally and internationally for new products launched in China, managing suppliers to fulfill production requirement in China factory. 2. Scheduling sourcing suppliers, auditing and selecting qualified suppliers. 3. Following schedules of RFQ, quotation analysis, negotiation and contract with suppliers. 4. Tracking procurement schedule to meet production material requirement. 5. Building should cost data base as a benchmarking in China. 6. Improving the process of sourcing and developing, procurement and so on with different department staffs so as to improve the effectiveness and efficiency. 7. Driving cost down event every year to meet cost budget requirements.
