After majoring in English linguistics and cognitive linguistics at university, I pursued a master’s degree where I conducted research on text generation in natural language processing. Upon graduation, I joined LINE Yahoo Corporation, where I was responsible for backend development of web search services. Using Java, Spring Boot, and Scala, I developed applications for processing and retrieving data from a knowledge graph. I gained experience with Kubernetes for auto-scaling and managed a data processing platform utilizing Apache Cassandra. Additionally, I contributed to improving operational efficiency by developing data editing tools using React, TypeScript, and Node.js. Being someone who didn’t start as a purebred engineer, I place great importance on communication that considers the perspectives and needs of non-technical stakeholders. I hold a TOEIC score of 975 and an IELTS Overall score of 7.0, enabling me to read and write business documents in English. With expertise in the development and operation of backend systems, particularly in Web API development, I am a skilled and versatile engineer.
