I was born on January 29, 1999, in Istanbul, and graduated from Yildiz Technical University, Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. During my studies, I completed internships at Ater Machinery, Torlak Shipyard, and Kuasar Marine, which provided me with a strong foundation in shipbuilding and marine engineering practices. I started my career at Sanmar Shipyard as a Project Engineer, where I was responsible for managing multiple projects from the initial phase to delivery. My role included production planning, coordinating between engineering and production departments, monitoring project timelines, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, organizing harbour and sea acceptance tests, and representing the shipyard to customers and classification societies. I successfully contributed to the delivery of various tugboats, including Electra 2200 (battery propulsion tug, ABS classed), RAstar 3200SX (RINA Classed), and several RAstar and RAmparts series ASD tugs delivered to international clients across Europe and Africa. Currently, I am working as a New Building Specialist at Yasa Tanker, where I manage large-scale tanker newbuilding projects such as LR2 Product/Crude Oil Tankers and MR Product/Chemical Tankers. My responsibilities cover technical contract processes, plan approvals, cost monitoring, coordination with shipyards and classification societies, supervision of Owner-Supplied equipment, management of guarantee claims, and evaluation of reports from site supervision teams. With proven experience in both shipyard and shipowner perspectives, I bring a comprehensive understanding of the entire shipbuilding lifecycle—from design and construction to delivery and operation. My goal is to continue contributing to the maritime industry by combining strong technical expertise, hands-on project management, and international experience in vessel construction and fleet development.
