Director of Supply Chain & Direct Procurement with full accountability for strategic and operational direct procurement as well as end-to-end supply-chain performance within the Life Science business unit operating in an international joint-venture environment. I define and execute procurement and supply-chain strategies aligned with BU, JV, and group objectives, ensuring measurable value creation across cost, quality, delivery, risk, ESG compliance, and regulatory requirements. My work focuses on: - Sustainable value creation through Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) - Supplier development, innovation, and risk management - Operational excellence across the entire value chain - Digital and AI-driven transformation of procurement and supply-chain processes I lead and develop cross-functional, multi-site teams covering Category Management, operational procurement, project sourcing, and business process & data analytics, positioning Procurement and Supply Chain as strategic and operational value drivers for production, project business, and growth.
