At the beginning of my journalistic career, I was focused mainly on education, science, environment, and social issues. I got experience covering election nights, protests, and doing data analysis. After a year and a half, I switched from fast news to more explanatory journalism. I became the head author and editor of the health section primar.sme.sk. The main focus of my work was medical news, health policies, guides for the public, interviews with doctors and patients' stories. Thanks to my experiences with SEO, Primar gradually became one of the leading sources of trusted medical information for the broad public. All my articles for SME are chronologically listed on the original link below: http://plus.sme.sk/aut/416/zuzanamatkovska I have been part of the "Wiki marathon" iniciative: two day event organized by SME and team from Wikimedia Slovak Republic focused on develpment of articles about cancer on Slovak Wikipedia page. Before the event the main article on the topic had about 6000 bytes, after the event it was 32 000 bytes (level of the Czech Wiki). A text about cancer treatment was created completely from scratch, which has approximately 40 000 bytes. Voulenteers (supported by medical professionals) also diligently dug through several sub-pages about specific types of cancer and also edited sub-pages about specific treatments or oncology.
