Ms Zsuzsanna Szabolcski dr. LL.M. is a Senior Legal Counsel at TESCO-GLOBAL Zrt. leading a team responsible for the legal support of Procurement of services, Corporate Law, Employment Law and Consumer Protection, supporting HR, marketing, communication and PR activities of the company. Tesco operates in Hungary since 1995 and has built one of the biggest retail chain by running more than 200 stores all over Hungary.Previously, she was a Legal Counsel at MOL Group with a demonstrated history of working in the oil & energy industry. MOL Group is a Hungarian multinational oil and gas company headquartered in Budapest, Hungary. First, she worked for MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Public Limited Company providing legal support to HR, Procurement and data protection and data privacy related activites of the Company as legal counsel and data breach coordinator.Nearly two years later, she worked as Sole Legal Counsel of MOL-LUB Ltd. which is one of the leading producers and distributors of premium automotive, commercial and industrial lubricants, autochemicals and additives supplying customers in over 50 countries. She provided legal advice and supported the Company and its foreign subsidiaries in export, sales, procurement, productions and transport, and dealt with contract management, R&D, IP Rights, Employment Law, Sanctions Compliance Audits and Data Protection Law.After her studies in Law at the University of Szeged, Faculty of Law and her language studies at the Faculty of Arts, she continued her studies at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences where she graduated as a legal translator and interpreter in English and Hungarian languages. She has a degree in LL.M. studies in European and International Business Law in English.She passed the bar exam and is a member of the Budapest Bar Association.She speaks fluent Hungarian and English. She also speaks French (B2 level) and Italian (A2 level).She works as a lawyer-linguist and translates legal documents and contracts from English to Hungarian and Hungarian to English, and occasionally she does court interpretation. She also provides legal proofreading.She completed her studies in Industrial Property rights in 2023.She has picked up a new hobby: wall decor painting. She has been experimenting with different designs, colours and techniques and she finds it amazing how much character it adds to a room.
