About
Hi! I'm Ethan, currently an early-stage software infra investor at MongoDB Ventures. Technology and people have always been at the center of everything I do. I studied computer science at Harvard, where I spent most of my time teaching the largest CS and statistics classes on campus and building applications for clients through Harvard's student-run development shop. I then kicked off my career building AI applications and internal tools for awesome customers as a Forward Deployed Engineer at both C3 AI and Retool during their hyper-growth times. Then, during business school at MIT, I began to explore early-stage venture, where I got to identify and support founders through my work at Contrary and 186 Ventures.
