Responsibilities • Designing and overall supervision of technical matters involved in manufacturing. • Design of transformers up to 10MVA & voltage level up to 33 KV • Design of single phase transformers. • Auto transformers for industries • Design of 6 pulse, 12 pulse Rectifier transformers • Design of Isolation transformers. • Design of transformers for solar applications. • Design of high voltage testing transformer 220 v to 80,000V. • Designing of prototype transformers for WAPDA starting from 10 KVA to 630 KVA. (Full range of WAPDA products Approved) • Designed & developed prototypes of 250 KVA and 500 KVA for K-Electric.. (Approved) • Modification of voltages levels of transformers • Repair and Refurbishment of all type of transformers . • Costing and Boqs preparation of newly designed ,repair and refurbished transformers • Provide technical assistance to the labor to meet with the changing demands of transformers manufacturing techniques • Transformer cost optimization through design improvement. • Fault analysis and mitigation of faults of transformers during manufacturing process.

• Supervision of Transformer repair and refurbishment during manufacturing. • Effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital. Assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while insuring product standards. • Managing Design / R&D progress at K-Electric. Transformer & Switchgear Workshop for repair / refurbishment of distribution & power Transformers, along with design of new distribution Transformers and associated products as per K-Electric specifications & requirements • Ensuring cost effective and technically efficient product by optimal selection & utilization of materials and production facilities; Carry out design reviews & “RCAs” of failed Transformers and prepare solutions to improve and implement changes in relation to quality of repair / refurbishment. • Standardization of Transformers and its accessories as per “end user” demand and optimization of production process. • Provide technical support on selection of machines / tools for manufacturing & testing of Transformers. • Development & technical support for Transformer related material specifications and criteria for receiving inspection / testing. • Review & approval of distribution Transformer’s technical documentations / drawing from different vendors along with witnessing and verifying the routine / type testing of Transformer at Independent testing laboratory • Technical support for repair / inspection / testing of Transformers to K-Electric. The support is meant to evaluate the feasibility of repair, finalization of repair scope, finalization of final testing & inspection criteria and Inspection / witness of repaired Transformer. • These responsibilities are carried out with the objective to ensure repair/ refurbishment / manufacturing of Transformer are in line with organizational policies and procedures.

Designation Assistant Design Engineer (Transformers) (January 2012 TO April 2014) Responsibilities • Assist Manager Technical in development of transformers according to the changing requirements of different users • Transformer cost optimization through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials etc. • Responsible for implementation of design for transformers.
