Through collaboration with trading floor personnel, and using Python, Java, and SQL, I created enhancements and utilities around the bank’s equity derivative trading system. Responsible for multiple concurrent deliverables in a fast paced, hard deadline environment of weekly releases.

Designed and implemented full GUI desktop and server applications which revolutionized the way OPG delivers training to its nuclear plant operators. Collaborated with classroom trainers to create a training system which allows remote control and monitoring of lessons on student’s PCs. Implemented such applications on UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows using C++, C#, X-Window System, Microsoft MFC, Microsoft COM, RPC, ZeroC middleware, and multi-threading.

* Using C++ on UNIX, and the SS7 telephony protocol, I created high availability, fault tolerant server software to control telephone connections and add value for call center operators. * Developed multi-threaded regression testing software. * Designated as developer team lead.

Using C/C++ on UNIX, developed server software to process transactions from automated teller machines, point-of-sale terminals, VISA, MasterCard, and bank mainframes. Worked independently at overseas clients performing custom development and acceptance testing.

Using C on UNIX, and TUXEDO middleware, developed server software for automating the trading floor. Took the initiative to redesign a major component to improve performance and reliability.
