* It is my senior design in my undergraduate school. I did the project under the professor's instruction. This project let me gain insight into automotive design and transmission's structure. * Selected the transmission mechanism based on the type of vehicle and requirements for the vehicle’s performance and determined the form of gears and shifting mechanism. * Calculated the parameters for transmission, gears and shafts. * Chose the gear’s type and tooth number, checked the gear bending strength and contact stress. * Determined the structure and parameters of the transmission’s shafts based on the strength and stiffness of the shaft. * Constructed the 3D model of the transmission using SolidWorks.

* It is a project in AIAA to redesign the PT6A-68B turboprop engine for Pilatus PC-21 and reached goal of increasing the power by at least 25%, decreasing weight by at least 5% and improving fuel burn at least 20%. * Researched on different types of turboprop engine and decided to use manufactured turboprop engine designs as the concept selection. * Used thermodynamic equation to calculate the pressure, temperature and power of the air flow, set the certain standards and data in the AxStream to obtain the dimension of compressors. * Modeled and simulated the turboprop’s movement using SolidWorks to illustrate the flow going through the compressors and turbines.
