About
I’m a Project Engineer currently working with VisionNav Robotics, supporting AGV deployments in automotive manufacturing environments including Ford’s DSP and WSP plants. My role sits at the intersection of controls, automation, and on-site system integration, where design meets real-world production. At VisionNav, I work closely with engineering, technicians, and plant teams to support AGV commissioning, routing configuration, field troubleshooting, and system optimization. Much of my work focuses on ensuring reliable operation of autonomous material handling systems in high-volume manufacturing environments, coordinating electrical, mechanical, and software considerations under real production constraints. Through hands-on exposure in automotive plants, I’ve developed strong interest and growing experience in: • Industrial automation and controls systems • PLC-driven equipment and production line integration • AGV / robotic systems deployment • Manufacturing process optimization and downtime reduction • Cross-functional communication between engineering, maintenance, and operations teams My academic background is in Electrical Engineering, with coursework and project experience in digital systems, control fundamentals, and hardware/software integration. I’m particularly motivated to grow into a full Controls / Automation Engineering role where I can deepen my technical skillset in PLCs, robotics, and manufacturing systems while continuing to work directly on the plant floor solving real production problems. What drives me most is seeing engineered systems actually work in production , not just on paper and being part of the team that keeps those systems safe, stable, and continuously improving. I’m actively pursuing early-career Controls / Automation / Manufacturing Engineering opportunities in the automotive and industrial space.
