Instructing Earth Science class for undergraduates.

My research is primarily focused on understanding how ancient sediments become mineralized and form economic ore deposits, with an emphasis on both depositional and post-depositional processes. Additionally, I am interested in what information regarding the evolution of the Earth surface through time can be gained by studying sedimentary archives. A critical aspect of this research has been investigating banded iron formations (BIFs). Currently, my postdoctoral work is centered on the effects that post-depositional processes, such as fluid flow and oxidative weathering, have on altering primary BIFs. Such processes are critical for understanding how BIFs were initially deposited, how BIF-hosted ores formed, and determining what constraints regarding ancient ocean redox conditions may be extracted from their depositional history and chemistry.

I am conducting research on potash deposits in Saskatchewan, Canada, in collaboration with industry partners BHP and Nutrien.

·Coordinated with multiple project participants, including construction, design, and consulting teams. ·Trained junior geological e3ngineers on the latest policies. ·Oversaw a project area of 3,400 acres, monitoring construction schedules and quality through on-site inspections. ·Applied drone 3D modeling to demonstrate project progress in reports. ·Developed strong skills in ArcGIS and AutoCAD to manage the project.
