Delivered Mobile Carrier Billing in China, worked on Google/Apple in-app-payment for Amazon’s digital content subscriptions. Engineered and maintained dozens of various web-services at Amazon-scale volumes, supported consumer ordering experience and enacting orders through external payment processors on a global scale. Designed, implemented, and scaled a real-time data streaming Lambda-Architecture platform with APIs to send and retrieve data (Vertafore Ellis Island) Designed and implemented custom workflows with Oozie, Hive, and Java to ingest, transform, and export TBs of data Designed complex data pipelines to import, process, and store data for Carrier Analytics. Deployed and administered Hadoop cluster to support datalake composed of the various product sources in the Vertafore brand. Assisted in development of custom UI framework for writing automated tests with SpecFlow in C# using Selenium. Designed and implemented automated test cases for ImageRight Webclient 5.7, specifically in BDD testing at the UI level. Implemented methods to boost performance of automation to improve feedback times to developers and engineers, reducing feedback times from many hours to under 2, even with additional test cases, allowing near immediate reports. Applied our custom framework to create automation environments for other web products in the Vertafore line. Worked alongside QA to help document and report defects throughout development stage. Familiarity with SCRUM development, as well as agile/lean principles.
