I worked on the design and control of robotics systems, from robotic manipulators to mobile robotic platform. For robot manipulators, I am part of the team working on the design of modular robotic joint modules that can be rapidly assembled to build customized robotic manipulators optimized for different tasks. For mobile robot, I came up with the design and control of mobile robotics platform exhibiting variable footprint area for different tasks that require a tradeoff between stability and compactness. The mobile robot is also to perform a change in the footprint area during motion.

PhD candidate in the Collaborative Haptics and Robotics in Medicine (CHARM) Lab specializing in mechanical design, controls, haptics, and human-machine interface. Worked on providing touch feedback to uses of teleoperation systems, in particular the da Vinci surgical robotics system by Intuitive Surgical. Designed and implemented tactile devices that can provide intuitive force information feedback to the user in teleoperation systems or virtual environments.
