Delivered a best-in-class CDK9 candidate, demonstrating superior potency, selectivity, and PK profile relative to AZD-4573, through strategic team leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Discovered and advanced novel HIF-2α inhibitor series, achieving potency comparable to PT-2977 and securing multiple patent filings (WO2024067708, WO2024067709, WO2024067566). Pioneered AI-enabled R&D innovation, spearheading the development of a first-in-class AI-driven patent SAR analysis platform (patmap.alphama.com.cn/csr ) to accelerate IP strategy and competitive intelligence.

Led the CADD team at Shanghai site, advancing high-priority programs to LLO/PCC. Drove the HBV capsid assembly modulator (CAM) program, optimizing potency and PK while successfully mitigating CYP induction liabilities. Directed the medicinal chemistry strategy of an enteric kinase inhibitor program, delivering proof of concept (POC).

Led a CADD team in strategic collaboration with Genentech, providing computational and design support for high-priority discovery programs. Pioneered the discovery of multiple novel-scaffold GuaB inhibitors, advancing a new mechanism of action for antibiotic therapy (mBio 15:e00897-24; J Bacteriol. 2024 Oct 24;206(10):e0010224). Contributed to the discovery of GDC-9545, a best-in-class oral SERD clinical candidate for the treatment of ER+ breast cancer.

Led a CADD team in strategic collaboration with Genentech, advancing high-priority discovery programs with computational expertise. Contributed to the discovery of GDC-0310, a Nav1.7 clinical candidate for pain management.
