Managing a new Supported Living Services for 4 people on the autism spectrum. Supervising 18 staff including waking nights, and 24/ 7 support. On-call systems, assistive technology and ensuring full involvement of parents/carers and social networks. Tasks included Behavioural Specialist techniques, assessing patterns of behaviour and responses. Ensuing the people's lives were not limited due to their autism however, developing their understanding of social ettiquettes, risk management strategies and ability to choose choice responses to situations. Individual care plans and communication techniques reviewed and monitored.

3 year dissertation "Developing Community Involved for people with Autism" as published within (The White Paper 2002). Supporting people on the autism spectrum to manage transition and gain increased involvement with their community. Workshops delivered to across Oxfordshire (Paradigm) as well as intensive support and facilitation of group sessions. Presented with an award by The Kingwood Trust for innovation, involvement and ability to deliver over the expected outcomes. Training involved Personal Safety Awareness, Physical Interventions, Safeguarding and Communication Techniques. Qualified Person Centred Trainer. Specilising in recognising changes in behaviour, techniques and responses.
