I currently lead computer vision / deep learning / speech / AI team at Rivian, an EV adventure company. Since joining Rivian, we have successfully brought our innovations from concept to product. My passion is in researching and developing world-class generative AI, computer vision, speech, vision-language model, and other deep learning technologies. Prior to joining Rivian, I have extensive R&D experience from Qualcomm to Samsung, from signal processing/wireless communication to computational photography/computer vision/deep learning / NLP, from embedded software/system to algorithm development.
