* Management of the entire planning activities including airfreight & sea freight planning * Provide support for overall plant asset utilization, resources planning, cycle time, target inventory,  manufacturing standards, cost reduction projects, productivity projects, etc. * Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of  subordinate employee. * Create / Monitor Master Production Schedule / Internal Manufacturing Plan / Vendor Scheduling based on  customer schedule / Requirement * Key liason person between company and customer in terms of delivery status & handle quality issues in  Weekly Con Call. * Key liason person for Planning Department and other respective department (e.g production, logistic, supply chain, engineering) to ensure customer's requirement are met * Prepare Annual Budget For Planning Department. * Utilising SAP for managing production job orders and WIP tracking * Coordinates with Supply Chain & Procurement to ensure smooth supply of raw materials * Actively involved in the development of operational procedures in accordance to the AS9100, NADCAP, IPCA etc * Coach & train planning staff on training programs. Evaluate performance of staff, recommend promotion, additional training etc * Maintain planning records, prepares reports, and compose correspondence relative to the work. * Participate and implement LEAN manufacturing activities (RCCA, VSM, 5's, standard work, lean master coach)
