Improving recycling rates using real-time feedback; helping citizens reduce mistakes while recycling. The IoT devices can be customized for various types of smart bins and localized according to recycling standards of different cities and languages. Incorrectly recyclable waste products remain a problem, with under 50% recycling rates for plastics in many places.

Designed and developed iOS apps that communicates and integrates into Oblong's gestural systems, including an app for controlling Mezzanine, a multi-screen, multi-user collaboration system. Architected iOS libraries and an SDK that allows internal and 3rd party developers easily to integrate the g-speak ecosystem into mobile apps, with automatic marshaling of objects from a proprietary C platform to native Objective-C objects.

Developed a XAML / WPF user interface for Shot, an effort that reuses existing document system using MVVM concepts, resulting in a organized, flexible and testable interface framework. Designed and implemented XAML / WPF user-interface for HyperDrive, Bunkspeed’s most advanced 3D product. Created reusable XAML control for piecewise migration of an existing Forms app to WPF. Sole developer of HyperShot’s OS X cocoa user interface. The 3D realtime raytracing application interacts with a C++ rendering engine while leveraging NSDocument architecture, Cocoa Bindings, Core Animation, Core Image, NSOperations, AppleScript, Sparkle framework, Quicktime output, and other Cocoa technologies.

Designed, developed and launched Maplets, an iOS and Android app which provide users with thousands of offline GPS-enabled maps of national/state parks, transit systems, bike routes, ski resorts and university campuses. It was featured by Apple multiple times and reached as high as #31 overall paid app in the App Store. Created several derivative apps and a white-label app for the National Wildlife Refuges System.

Leading and managing iOS and Android development teams, coordinating with headquarters in the US to produce mobile apps for Mezzanine, a multi-user collaborative telepresence system. Took a proof-of-concept to launch and oversaw subsequent releases of the flagship app. Architect of iOS codebase with responsibilities in product definition, feature specifications, visual design, documentation of code structures, team management and hiring. Incorporation of development strategies such as unit testing, integration testing, communications testing and backwards compatibility. Open-sourced an internal iOS library onto github. Development and bug fixing of Android app when needed (driven by prioritization or load balancing) , participating in architectural and technical discussions. Internal builds deployment first using custom webservice, then later TestFlight and OS X Server. Testing strategy include both unit testing with code coverage, and calabash/cucumber based integration tests. Devised strategy for sharing of tests between Android and iOS.
