*Responsibilities* In industries like ceramic tiles decorative surfaces the Glaze Line and Inkjet Printing processes are crucial for finishing and design application. Production Engineers play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, quality, and efficiency. 1. Process Control & Optimization. Monitor glaze preparation (mixing, viscosity, density). Adjust application methods (spraying, waterfall, dipping) for uniform coating. Optimize drying/curing parameters to prevent defects. Detect and resolve defects (cracks, pinholes, chipping and liner). Work with QC to ensure smooth tiles surface and color consistency. 2.Maintain glaze, engobe pumps, nozzles, mixers, and conveyors. Troubleshoot mechanical/automation issues. 3.Ensure safe handling of glaze and Engobe (wear PPE). Manage waste disposal ( water, engobe glaze and green tiles) 4.Set up and calibrate inkjet printers. Ensure proper ink flow, nozzle health, and printhead alignment. Adjust print resolution and speed for design accuracy. 5.Check print alignment with tile surface and edges. Monitor color consistency. Verify design accuracy (patterns, gradients, sharpness). 6.Maintain ink inventory Prevent ink settling/clogging with proper agitation. minimize waste. Clean printheads and prevent nozzle clogging. Diagnose electronic/mechanical faults (encoder errors, belt misalignment). Coordinate with (Efi and vivajet) technicians for major repairs. 8.Implement digital workflow enhancements Test new inks for better durability, color range and cost reduce. Reduce setup time between design changes. Production Efficiency Minimize downtime, optimize cycle time. Data Logging Record process parameters, defects, and corrective actions. Team Coordination Train operators, collaborate with R&D & maintenance. Cost Control Reduce material waste, energy consumption. 7.Knowledge of inkjet printing technology. Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical & electronic systems

Prepared daily production report, And as well as make planning report followed by production schedule and demand. Ensure archiving the production quantity & quality target with decreased line wastage. Supervise & maintain production processes drawing up a production schedule. Ensure health and safety guidelines are following ,supervised and motivated of worker for quality work and smart work. When any model or production run then follow up tiles design , color correction, shade matching, punch matching with design green conditions and firing conditions. Maintain manpower & prepared worker duty roster, ink usage report, engobe & glaze parameters, workers salary sheet, workers overtime sheet & casual worker bill sheet. Carefully maintain maintenance work of glaze line & Inkjet machine as well as machine and line need for run smooth production purpose. Overall production any problem from glaze line related or others relevant area , always i am trying to provide my best solution and as soon as communication with higher authority to discuss this issues (if need).

1.Supervise daily operations of glaze, engobe, and inkjet printing lines to ensure smooth production flow. 2. Monitor glaze and engobe preparation, ensuring correct viscosity, density, and chemical composition for optimal application. 3. Maintain inkjet printers including nozzle cleaning, alignment checks, and ink replenishment to prevent print defects. 4. Troubleshoot defects such as streaking, clogging, or uneven application in engobe, glaze, or printed designs. 5.Optimize engobe and glaze spraying to prevent issues like cracking, peeling, or uneven coating. 6. Calibrate application machinery (spray guns, rollers, robotic arms) for precise engobe, glaze, and ink deposition. 7.Conduct quality inspections on engobe-coated surfaces, glazed layers, and printed patterns for consistency. 8.Adjust drying and firing parameters to ensure proper adhesion of engobe, glaze, and ink layers. 9. Train production people’s on proper handling of engobe, glaze mixing, inkjet printing, and safety procedures. 10.Minimize material waste by optimizing engobe, glaze, and ink consumption through process improvements. 11.Collaborate with R&D to test new engobe formulations, glaze recipes, and digital printing techniques. 12.Maintain production records, documenting batch details, defects, and corrective actions for traceability. 13. Schedule preventive maintenance for engobe sprayers, glaze applicators, and inkjet printers to avoid downtime. 14.Troubleshoot conveyor and drying system issues affecting engobe/glaze adhesion or print registration. 15.Work with automation teams to enhance engobe/glaze application and digital printing precision. 16. Enforce safety protocols** for handling chemicals, ceramic slurries, and printer inks to prevent hazards. 17.Coordinate with Press, QC Lab and kiln Engineer to ensure proper fusion of engobe, glaze, and ink layers during firing. 18.Stay updated on industry advancements.
