We advocate for smart & sustainable transport in a post-war Recovery of Ukraine. We focus on three topics: 1) Zero deaths: eliminate fatal traffic crashes from the streets and roads in Ukraine's cities; 2) Zero-carbon mobility: revive, modernize, and expand electric public transport & develop cycling infrastructure; 3) Zero barriers: ensure full accessibility of transport systems and cities to persons with reduced mobility.

A Ukraine-based consulting and transport planning company dedicated to Sustainable Development Goals #3 and #11. Since starting in 2020, we have delivered more than 50 projects for 15+ cities of Ukraine, as well as several projects at a regional and national level. Among our most prominent international clients are GIZ and the World Bank.

I served as an advisor to two Ministers of Infrastructure of Ukraine: Volodymyr Omelian and Vladyslav Krykliy. My key field of expertise was road safety policies, and we managed to achieve significant progress for Ukraine together.

We created the company from scratch, and it has grown to 14 people and 40+ projects a year. A lot of good projects in street design, traffic organization, mobility strategies and road safety. In the summer of 2020, I sold my share of the company and started Oresund LLC.

After running for mayor of Yaremche (my home town, population of 21,000) and finishing at 4th position among 9 runners, I was nominated by my party "Syla Lyudey" as one of members of the Executive Committee. The City Council has appointed me to that position on the 19th of November, 2015.

I joined the organization in 2008, and have designed and led several projects since then. The biggest one was BikeLand (www.bikeland.org.ua), aimed at promotion of nature-based tourism in the Ukrainian Carpathians and supported by a EU grant. In BikeLand, we developed a network of bike trails, biker-friendly lodges, and did a lot of promotion and maketing work. We also have implemented several smaller projects dealing with environment protection, education, eco-tourism and entrepreneurship. We currently are implementing a major Ukrainian-Romanian project on nature-based tourism, and are about to start another cross-border project with our partners from Poland and Belarus.

I was honored to be a part of the team of the outstanding innovative NGO called "Teple Misto" located in Ivano-Frankivsk. I led the processes of developing the following programs: "Cycling-friendly city", "Small Grants for Urban Initiatives", and also, "Urban Space Radio". For the latter project, I have written a project proposal that was supported by Freedom House, and now, the radio is on air (www.urbanspaceradio.com) and there are live shows from a studio located at the Urban Space 100 social restaurant in downtown. I had to terminate my employment at this NGO because I had chosen to run for local elections in October 2015. I am still friends with this NGO and I help them with the Urban Space Radio project.

In this position I coordinate the activities of a group of business people and civic society representatives that work on a Sustainable Development Strategy for the mountainous community of Greater Yaremche. The area with a total population of about 22,000 people includes two towns, four villages, and the biggest ski resort in Ukraine, Bukovel. My work includes: - coordination of strategic planning meetings and communication within the group - external communications and relations with stakeholders - fundraising

Very insightful online course provided by Hasselt University based in Hasselt, Flandres, Belgium. I had a chance to visit the city and the campus in the past and was delighted to discover and take their online course during my Covid-19 weeks. Wonderful professors and very good learning resource.
