OpenWhisk started as an IBM research initiative to bring Functions as a Service to the IBM Cloud. It is open-source and part of the Apache Software Foundation, and additionally contributed to by Adobe and RedHat. I joined OpenWhisk to help jump-start their Austin-based team and initially came on to help develop their CLI in Go. Soon after, I helped start a new initiative to make it easier for users to immediately get up-and-running with OpenWhisk solutions on the cloud.

Worked as a full-stack engineer using React, Node.js, Express, and Redux. Helped create and test applications to track user adoption of IBM's Cloud using Segment and Amplitude. Also helped other teams by coming on-board to refine and build out dashboards and the developer experience for various IBM Cloud and Watson services.

* Worked as a full-stack developer to create Health at Home, an application that allows health-care professionals to monitor their patients’ health * Made use of IBM’s IoT platform and MQTT to connect patient devices to the rest of our application * Developed the frontend using React.JS and Redux, and the backend using Django, Flask, and PostgreSQL

* Analyzed QRadar scripts and logs on production consoles in order to consolodate and standardize * the main scripts needed to initialize monitoring for customers * Simplified the process of finding and structuring specific customer scripts by writing Python code * to easily pull files from a filesystem hierarchy * Along with the other interns, participated in consulting our division to determine the best asset * manager for organizing and tracking their lab devices

* At ClipMine I've worked with a very talented team on updating the application's infrastructure and decreasing bugs. My responsibilities include: * Actively seeking out and reducing the number of bugs while maintaining the video player’s codebase, and implementing new features in Backbone.js * Updating the back-end’s search functionality, designed and implemented a new front-end for it to * connect to, using Django, Python, and Backbone.js * Created new pages for the main website, while taking multiple browser configurations (including * mobile) into consideration with HTML, LESS, CSS, jQuery, and Bootstrap
