Among his numerous successful verdicts and settlements, Mr. Zwerdling won one of the largest single plaintiff verdicts in Humboldt County history - Hart Vs. Berryman. The award was $9.2 million. The pretrial offer from the defense was $10,000. This case received national attention, and as a result, Mr. Zwerdling was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is the only plaintiff's attorney on the Northcoast of California with this recognition. Mr. Zwerdling's son, Nathaniel, a recent graduate of the University of Santa Clara School of Law will join The Zwerdling Law Firm in December 2016.
