About

My dissertation explores waterpower's role in the transformation of colonial New England. The project aims to provide insight on the relationship between energy use and sovereignty before the the Industrial Revolution. My lifelong passion for history is firmly grounded in a belief that understanding the past is of crucial social and economic importance for individuals and communities. This passion has thus far led me toward opportunities in classroom and public history environments.
