I worked on the Civil War Governors of Kentucky Digital Documentary Edition. My responsibilities entailed scanning and cataloging documents, conducting background research, and contributing to group meetings which addressed project goals. The aim of the project is to give the general public a subaltern perspective into the harrowing experiences of life in a Civil War border state by digitizing archival material. Transcribed and annotated the written correspondence of David Thompson's survey of the US-Canadian border conducted in the 1820s. I also created a map tracking the location of Thompson's party. My work was uploaded to the Maine Memory Network.
