I am a photographer / videographer who has been based in Ethiopia. I have been involved in many projects with international and local companies ranging from the public to private sector. I specialize in editorial, documentary, and photojournalistic style of image making. My clients range from magazines, non governmental organizations as well as private companies. In 2014 I began working for Agence France-Presse covering both breaking and feature length stories in the region. I am well versed with working in Ethiopia and familiar with the methods and protocol of working in Africa. I have been published internationally in newspapers from the Guardian, BBC, Al Jazeera, and Bloomberg, New York Times and others.

After working in Chicago in the years following school I decided to move to Addis Ababa to start working there as a freelance photographer.
