As Director of Business Development, I strive to convert leads into customers throughout the sales pipeline, and develop existing customers into more actively engaged partners, expanding our service offering and working closer with them to meet a broader spectrum of needs. I guide corporate strategy to expand operations that are most profitable, eliminate ones that are not, and maintain our position at the forefront of driving customer success.

At SKLLD, we're working hard on a tech solution to redefine the hiring process for jobseekers that are: - Changing Industries - Upskilling Program Grads - Veterans - Justice Impacted And anyone else with a nontraditional path to employment. We're connecting stakeholders at every level -- governments, nonprofits, jobseekers, and employers. People hire people. SKLLD is part of the first startup cohort with the Founder Institute in the Raleigh/Durham region. Overseeing a rental fleet of over 100 pieces of equipment including loaders, excavators, and attachments. Managing inventory, scheduling rentals, and helping customers succeed on a variety of projects in the fields of agriculture, construction, and military contracting. Worked daily to maintain existing business relationships and cultivate new customers through strategic growth.

Working closely with founding members to prepare for product redesign and Kickstarter campaign, with a focus on marketing, PR, and growth.

In addition to working as a YMCA swim instructor, I started my own swim lesson service with over twenty-five clients. In addition to the skills required at my previous job, being self employed required me to handle all aspects of my new business, from onboarding new clients, scheduling, and teaching lessons in the pool. I worked one on one with children in a variety levels and physical ability, including those in need of special accommodations.

Unpaid semester long co-op through entrepreneurship class at NCSU spent conducting interviews with users, analyzing data, and working toward the presentation of a formal recommendation to the entire company.

I was a swim instructor for two and a half years, teaching everyone from parent/newborn classes to private lessons with senior citizens. This job taught me excellent social and presentation skills, as well as how to manage large groups of children and convey ideas and goals to adults.
