- Define technical requirements for electric drive vehicle systems in close collaboration with other departments; - Create systems documentation (Specifications, technical data, etc.) - Propose system architecture; - Participate in the planning of system validation activities; - Communicate with customers during all phases of product development

- Define, design, test and integrate communication, video surveillance and other subsystems for passenger rail cars; - Write subsystems functional descriptions and test procedures; - Work with different teams for integration of subsystems; - Manage all requirements for each subsystem and ensure that all applicable standards are followed; - Monitor quality and implement design changes to increase quality; - Execute tests and write test reports; - Troubleshoot subsystems for hardware and software bugs; - Support production with any issues that may happen with subsystems; - Present and explain subsystems design to executives and customers;

- Failure analysis of MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems) and proposal of technical solutions; - Results analysis and explanations the of results to determine the source of the bugs; - Work with external teams to perform special tests; - Destructive tests to characterize the reliability and the robustness of the MEMS; - Develop and implement miscellaneous continuous improvement programs for the test processes and manufacturing of the MEMS; - Plan and coordinate daily operations of the test department; - Technical, logistic and operational support of all departments;

- Plan and coordinate activities related to maintenance, repair calibration, improvement and debugging of telecommunication subsystems test stations; - Management of the logistic to transfer an entire line of products from another factory. Installation and start-up of all test stations; - Assembly, test and characterization of a new kind of test station for a prototype electronic module; - Ensure updates of systems and components; - Introduction of a calibration and preventive maintenance program for all types of test stations;

- Implementation of test procedures for printed circuit boards that are integral components of complex electronic systems; - Design of test stations combining functional and system tests; - Improvement of the quality of electronic products; - Reduction of testing time to optimize costs; - Problem solving on the design of optical circuit packs; - Establishment and maintenance of an excellent collaboration with other teams;

- Design, manufacturing and test of ethernet and other types of cables;

- Passenger rail cars communication subsystem design, manufacturing and test.
