Learned the basic and applied concept of statistics, such as probability theory, mathematical statistics, bioinformatics, and numerical analysis and scientific computing, by using R, SPSS, and SAS at San Jose State University. As the relevant project at San Jose State University, I experienced international human development data analysis on Spring 2017. I Led a team of three to establish a report for final project for a class, Applied Probability and Statistics II. I analyzed data from more than 200 countries and territories with respect to variables such as GDP, literacy, birth rates, and public health and education spending and examined the factors that have affected Human Development Index(HDI) using Hypothesis test and simple and multiple regression analysis. 統計学を専攻し、確率論・統計学の基礎から生物、医療、マーケティング等への応用、また、R、SPSS、SAS、MATLABといった数学・統計解析ソフトの使用方法まで幅広く勉強した。課外活動としては、シリコンバレーに海外で活躍する日本人を育成することを目的とした大学を設立するプロジェクトに唯一の学生として参画。主に広報・運営を担当し、日本から年間約100名の学生をシリコンバレーに招き、短期プログラムの運営に携わった。

Studied for transferring 4-year university. As a result, I graduated as an honor student and got accepted some UC schools other than San Jose State University. Moreover, as my outside activity, I joined Silicon Valley Japan University (SVJU) Project. In the project, I manage their intensive program and attend its participants and develop their sub-websites. Also, I design and make flyers for their programs’ participants. リベラルアーツを専攻し、４年生大学に編入するための一般教養及び、数学のクラスを受講した。De Anza CollegeをHonor Studentとして卒業。編入学試験では現在通っているサンノゼ州立大学の他にUCLAやUCSDなどを含むカリフォルニア大学５校に合格し、UCSBにはHonor Studentとして合格。日本に一時帰国した際は留学斡旋会社が開催する留学セミナーにゲストスピーカーとして登壇。また、在学中に留学を手助けするためのWebサイトを運営していた。
