• Drive the innovation in Bonito with development of B-DEL, the next generation of DNA-encoded library technology (DEL), with dramatic improvement over the traditional DEL from proprietary redesign. • Lead Bonito's platforms, including B-DEL and mRNA display, for the discovery of delivery vehicles for oligonucleotide-based precision therapeutics, with targeting to specific cell type or tissue of interest. • Guide strategic direction as part of the executive leadership team with direct reporting to CEO; contribute to board discussions and business decision-making. • Engage with pharma and venture partners to build collaborations and advance Bonito's business.

• DEL Leadership Team and portfolio management team. • Represent for all NCE functions in the portfolio program teams and provide strategic and tactical input on molecular discovery strategy and capabilities especially on screening strategies. • Led a team focusing on new on-DNA chemistry development and DEL library development and synthesis. • Led the development of cellular selection with next generation of encoded library using miniaturized screening platform.

• DEL scientific leadership team and portfolio management team. • Led a team focusing on DEL library development/synthesis. • Led the development of cellular selection with next generation of encoded library using miniaturized screening platform. • Initiated and led 6 external collaborations. • Managed CRO FTEs for the DEL team.

• Led and managed a team focusing on “on-DNA” chemistry development, library design and synthesis; • Led hit-to-lead and lead optimization of projects in different therapeutic areas. Delivered two pre-candidates and one clinical candidate; Delivered one lead compound which was licensed out. • Managed CRO FTEs to support chemistry needs in DEL team, including synthesis of DEL hits.

Key developer for the DNA-encoded library technology in DEL library, selection data analysis, and hit confirmation. Contributed to the acquisition of Praecis by GSK from below two parts of work. • Developed new on-DNA chemistries such as C-C coupling and heterocyclic ring formations, which demonstrated that DEL libraries could have diversity of drug-like molecules for drug discovery. • Led 2 out of 4 campaigns that were under the collaborations with GSK and delivered potent novel hits for both targets.
