Source, co-ordinate, plan and purchase direct material, indirect material, fabrication work, calibration work, factories supplies, outsource services required by the company. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Co-ordinate supplier selection / qualification process, negotiation, site audit and all communication between supplier and requestor: For example, yearly contract negotiation such as Gas and Chemical, Outsource Services (Movers, Forwarders) and award. 2. Benchmark pricing with ASE Corporate and industry; explore opportunities to reduce cost and inventory investments. For example, quarterly price sourcing analysis (Leadframe, Substrates), Cost Down Project for Indirect Material (Capillary). 3. Monitor current supplier performance (Pricing, quality, delivery and services) and drive for continuous improvement. 4. Responsible for the purchase and inventory management of assigned materials and services, process purchase requisition and awards purchase orders / procurement contracts to suppliers. 5. Consignment Item management (VMI) for factory supplies item, production item, indirect materials.

Key Task: Business Planning & Schedule: review customer orders with business condition quarterly by working closely with Front End Corporate Planner (Front End loading) & BACKEND Production Controller (ASSY to FG) Manage Available-To-Promise (ATP) process and scheduling for company backlog: fulfill customer orders, urgent support request: Ex-WIP management, MPC partconversion in WIP. Master Schedule on capacity issue and allocation: limited loading capacity & material shortage results in allocation of part by following the urgency of the customer orders (Expedite Code, Military part) Defective PDD report owner: compiling team report to maintain data accuracy.

Kaifa Technology is a new setup EMS company in Penang, Malaysia in 2020. I am one of the pioneer to join this company to help setup the company operations, primarily on project planning and procurement planning. My key roles here: Focusing on NPI Project Planning: receive and analysing BOM from customer Work with Commodity Engineering, Program and Engineering to ensure system setup such as BOM Part Number setup, material master and purchase info record RFQ with standard supplier to validate the price given by central sourcing team Perform Risk Buy to fulfill Total Quality Planning (TQP) and 1st Mass Production Build Handling direct material, indirect material and product packaging Troubleshooting Part Number Error, Pricing Error and Sourcing Error Coordinate with Warehousing, Lab & Quality team on incoming Item Actively involved in plant ISO accreditation activities, review procedures, perform gap analysis to ensure proper process in place
