In my current roles at UCLA Office of the Dean of Students and UCLA Intercollegiate Athletics, I get to work with students in ways that combine my love for mentorship, relationship-building, and helping others navigate big transitions. My path in student affairs started at UC Irvine, where I earned my B.A. in Education Sciences, and continued at USC, earning my M.Ed. in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs. Along this journey, I’ve worked with a wide range of students, from international students adjusting to life in the U.S. to student-athletes balancing intense schedule and I’ve learned that success looks different for everyone. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: every student’s story matters. As an educator, I am student-centered because I believe that every student deserves to be genuinely seen, heard, cared for, and valued. As an educator, I adapt to and understand that there will never be a "one size fits all" when it comes to holistically supporting each student and that meeting them where they are at today and tomorrow can be completely different.
