Preclinical pharmacology and translational research in oncology • Lead a group of scientists to evaluate efficacy of small molecule inhibitor and ADC in vitro and in vivo • Based on biology and medical needs, evaluate drug combination and indication selection strategies • Lead the development of biomarker assays to support clinical trials • Explore mechanism of action and underlying drug resistance mechanism • Review the development of newly approved drugs and new indications • Work with preclinical and clinical teams to accelerate drug development programs

Exploring the molecular pathogenesis and developing therapeutic targeting of transcriptional addiction in aggressive B cell lymphoma, 2015-present • Identifying and characterizing the role of novel oncogenes that are exclusively essential for aggressive B-cell lymphoma and multiple myeloma (target discovery and exploration of molecular mechanism) • Exploring small molecule therapeutics targeting aberrant transcriptional program in aggressive B-cell lymphoma (translational research and mechanism of action) • Investigate epigenetic regulation of latent-lytic switch of oncogenic herpesvirus in lymphoma • Implementing various techniques, including functional genomics, cell functional assays, in vitro biochemical assays, proteomics, RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, and tumor xenograft models • Conducting NGS data analysis using Linux and R

Discovery and development of novel antibody drugs • Discovery of novel fully human monoclonal antibodies against PD-1 and CTLA-4 using phage display technology • Design and development of bispecific antibodies • Generation of high-titer stable cell lines for antibody production • Functional screening of drug candidates with ELISA, flow cytometry, and cell-based assays • Collaborate closely with US and Taiwan research teams to drive projects forward
