● Interpreted mechanical drawings to develop routing sheets, streamlining production processes and ensuring accuracy. ● Performed root cause analysis for RMA parts and guided rework procedures to uphold quality standards. ● Generated and organized POs for plating parts (clear anodize, black oxide, electropolish, electroless nickel, etc.), ensuring compliance with material specifications, plating requirements, and customized thickness tolerances.

As a leader of the organization, I oversaw all of the Section’s operations, ensured that all of the assigned tasks were carried out, and followed up with each officer to see their individual progress throughout the year. Additionally, we planned and hosted the section’s annual outreach event, Imagineer Day for the local community. Lastly, it is my responsibility to complete annual reports to Headquarters.

As a President, I maintained close communication with the club advisor, international office, and consulate. Collaborated with other organizations for some events, Chinese New Year, Mid- Autumn Festival, and the International Food Festival. Provided services to Chinese international students, such as housing, banking, and registering courses. In addition, cooperating with other organizations, we host some events, to popularize ethnic diversity on campus, such as the international festival. One of the biggest annual events, the New Year celebration, promoted Chinese culture to the local community by cooperating with one local community college and high schools.

It is my honor to study at Chico State for my undergraduate education in Mechanical Engineering. Along with my studying here, my professors are always patient and careful to answer my questions. They are always available during office hours for me to use regarding my coursework, interview preparation, and even career plan. My major plan was designed as functional, not only taking major courses but also basic circuit and civil courses. During my past few years of learning experience, I enjoyed having a hands-on learning experience. During lab sections, instructors will never get tired of answering questions and patiently help you solve the problem. Obviously, it is a major dominated by male students, but I received a lot of respect and encouragement from my classmates.
