Project Involved: * Proposed Development of Changi East to Effect 3 Runway Operations at Singapore Changi Airport – Package Three (Contract Sum: SGD 3xx million) Tender Involved: * Proposed Development Of Terminal 5 Substructure At Changi East Development (Awarded) Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for quantity surveying and cost estimating. * Coordinate with other managers to ensure efficient financial control to ensure cost-effective, consistency of service delivery, and identify opportunities for developing both the quality and profitability of the service. * Attend onsite and projects meetings with clients, sub-cons. * Provide cost information and studies on value engineering analysis. * Prepare various main building contracts, piling contracts, and nominated sub-contracts for tender and contract formalization. * Preparation of pre-contract cost estimates, cost plans, budgetary study, and project cash-flow for a variety of developments. * Post-contract administration and management – contract documentation, valuation of the progress payment, variation assessment, and cost control and financial reports (including cash flow). * Ensure that project files, drawings, specifications, and bidding contracts are maintained. * Measure and take-off quantities for architectural and structural work elements. * Verify payment to sub-cons and suppliers. * Prepare progress claims. * Preparation of tender documents, cost estimates, and detailed quantity take-offs for multiple construction projects.

Project Involved * Proposed Development of Changi East to Effect 3 Runway Operations at Singapore Changi Airport – Package Two (Contract Sum: SGD 1.1 billion) Duties and Responsibilities * Prepare Bills of Quantities. * Obtained quotations and do up evaluation & recommendation for quotations. * Drafting of subcontracts. * Prepare the sub-contract/purchasing document for management review & approval. * Prepare progress payment certificates for sub-contractors. * Submission of progress claim to the client. * Compute variation order claim and prepare the final accounts for settlement with client/consultant. * Prepare final accounts of sub-contract work. * Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, Client/ Client Representatives and Sub-Contractors to accurately arrive with progress claims and variation claims. * Deals with contractual issues between main contractor and client, and those between main contractor and sub-contractors.

Project Involved * Junction City, Mixed Development comprising a two level Basement Carpark, one five-storey podium, one 23 storey Office (Keppel Land Office) and one 25 storey Hotel (Pan Pacific Hotel) developed by Shwe Taung Development Co. Ltd in Yangon, Myanmar. (Semi Top-Down Construction) Note: Joined Junction City Project from piling stage to final account. (please refer to attached completion certificate). QS Consultant by Arcadis (Thailand) Duties and Responsibilities * Preparation of cost estimates and... * Preparation for tender prequalification’s and tender documents. * Analysis and preparation of tender reports. * Preparation of Letters of Award. * Taking off quantities and compiling the bill of quantities. * Preparation of the project budget. * Monitoring of the project budget and works in progress. * Monitoring of progress claims and payments. * Completing the final accounts to the employer and for subcontractors. * Price/ forecast the cost of different materials needed for the project * Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation. * Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly. * Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project. * Measure and value the work done on site * Pay subcontractors * Liaise with other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
