Senior Principal Computational Biologist @ Novo Nordisk

About

I'm a Senior Principal Computational Biologist focused on machine learning for RNA therapeutics, with an emphasis on scientific validity over leaderboard shortcuts.I build end-to-end modeling systems that are interpretable, reproducible, and stress-tested for out-of-distribution behavior. Recent work includes gene-level holdout evaluation, paired external benchmarking, and uncertainty-aware statistical inference for siRNA activity prediction.I also design and maintain production analytics platforms — cloud-native, self-service systems that scale from prototype to 2,000+ monthly analyses with high reliability.Technical focus areas:- Mechanistic feature engineering for RNA therapeutics- Rigorous evaluation design (LOGO-CV, holdout, bootstrap CI)- MLOps and production ML infrastructure (MLflow, SageMaker, Azure ML)- Workflow orchestration (Nextflow, AWS Batch)- Interpretable ML for regulatory-grade applicationsBackground: PhD Biochemistry, MS Information Systems. 10+ years in computational biology across pharma, biotech, and genomics.
