I like and love my work. My fuel to perform my tasks and assignments have always been driven by self-motivation and being happy at work for my workmates and myself. * Responsibilities/Duties: * Interpret between patients and nurses in the initial assessment in the outpatient clinics. * Interpret between the physician and patient throughout the encounters, physical examination, giving medical instructions, explaining procedures and surgeries, and/or follow-up visits. * Interpret between the patient and the technician, physiotherapist, or other clinical caregivers. * Translate medical reports (confidential and/or regular) between English and Arabic. * Interpret medical phone calls in a form of teleconference calls to assist nurses in triage. * Create, design, and update medical anatomy, physiology, and pathology presentations and terminology glossaries. * Attend and supervise job shadowing sessions and provide feedback to new joiners. * Assist training new interpreters to the hospital to become medical interpreters by focusing on explanation of anatomy, physiology, pathology and treatment.
