As Senior Bioprocess Engineer in Upstream Process Development, -I am Technical Lead on a customer project; - I lead the scientific aspects and the team working on upstream process development of projects I am assigned to; - I am responsible for: --> design, implementation and execution of bioprocess development projects; -->selection and implementation of the most efficient technologies enabling to simplify and optimize protein/antibody/viral vector production processes; -->supervision and execution of planning/organization of the experiments and developments in my scope of activities; -->coordination of cross-team workflows; -->management of external stakeholders (consultants, subcontractors); -->management of tactical and strategic plannings (timelines, budget, resources, risks, assumptions, equipment, etc) -->building of upstream knowledge toolboxes

Industrial PhD project within the scope of Doctiris programme supported by Innoviris in collaboration with Artelis (Pall Brussels) and Peptisyntha (Corden Pharma Brussels) entitled "Synthetic self-assembling peptides as scalable matrices for human stem cell expansion".
