As the Head of IT & GRC, I lead the strategic alignment of IT operations with business objectives while ensuring robust governance, risk management, and compliance. My key responsibilities include: IT Strategy & Leadership: Defining and executing IT strategies that support business growth, efficiency, and security. Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC): Implementing and overseeing IT governance frameworks, risk management policies, and regulatory compliance. Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Enhancing security posture, ensuring data integrity, and mitigating IT risks. Business Alignment & EOS Implementation: Leveraging the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) as a key tool to integrate IT with other business functions, ensuring cohesiveness across different areas of the organization. Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Managing IT service providers, software vendors, and key business stakeholders to optimize IT investments. My role is centered on ensuring IT is not just a support function but a strategic enabler that drives operational excellence and business success.

As a DevOps Engineer at Trackmatic, I was responsible for managing and optimizing IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and driving automation to improve operational efficiency. My key responsibilities included: Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Managed AWS environments, Microsoft 365, and enterprise IT systems to ensure scalability, security, and performance. IT Strategy & Process Improvement: Developed and implemented IT processes to enhance efficiency and alignment with business objectives. Server & System Administration: Oversaw server management, networking, and system reliability to support business operations. Security & Compliance: Ensured IT security best practices, data integrity, and compliance with governance requirements. This role allowed me to build a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, automation, and business-driven technology strategies, setting the stage for my transition into leadership.

I founded Solar360 in 2021. I oversee all aspects of company operations ranging from on the ground operations to high level strategy and company expansion in order to drive efficiency, profitability and growth. I design each solar project and have demonstrated success in technical design, client management, team management, installation and successful commissioning of solar systems.

I consulted on improving an existing niche company's work flow. This included designing a high level and low level design architecture to explain my logic for the new work flow.

I was Chairman of the SAUJS Pretoria branch and board member of SAUJS National. My main duties included: attending meetings; board-decision making; liaising with various committee and board members, as well as with the University; connecting with Jewish students; and arranging logistics. I also attended a week-long leadership training in Israel, in collaboration with the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS).

I was the Religous Officer of the Pretoria branch of SAUJS 2017. My main duties included: organising Jewish events, attending meetings; board decision-making; liaising with the committee; connecting with Jewish students; liaising with the local Jewish shul (community and religious center).

I completed a 5 week internship at Aerotherm in South Africa. The internship included basic and in-depth training on STAR CCM+ CAD software and Discrete Element Method (DEM) design, respectively. Following the training, I was tasked with building a physical experimental rig (1m^3 in size) to calibrate the software to be used in a huge industrial plant simulation. We obtained consistent data from the rig, proving the experimental rig successful. The software was then calibrated accordingly.

I completed a 5 week internship at Sheet & Metal Engineering in South Africa. I gained a great deal of experience using a wide range of standard industrial machines, including but not limited to: brake press, computerised hydrolic punching machine, computerised laser cutting machine, TIG and MIG welding machines (iron, aluminum, stainless steal), robotic MIG welding machine, and other miscellaneous machining methods. I managed and executed a project designing and manufacturing a giant candelabra, over 2m tall. The process entailed designing the candelabra on CAD, after which the metal was cut and assembled.

I was a private Tutor to a high school pupil for just over 3 years. I assisted her with her homework and school assignments in a variety of subjects with which she needed help. Her marks improved significantly as a result of our lessons.

Grade: B.Eng received In addition to my studies, I involved myself in a variety of activities/societies, including leadership roles as well as university tutoring.
