As Operational Manager, I ensured the processes that facilitate the maximization of resources to achieve customer satisfaction, onsite compliance, engaged and productive employees, safety and security measures, policy adherence and operational goals. As the Training Manager, I ensured that training needs were consistent within the Belk region. I provided on-site training with a focus on selling, merchandising, store maintenance, Fulfillment, expense management, shortage prevention, sales support functions and exceeding goals. In additional, I was responsible for the timely delivery of service, profitability, employee management and training within the Atlanta and South Georgia Regions.

I played an integral role as part of the Store Management Team. Responsibilities included management and supervision of all associates, leading the Store in associate development, supervision of merchandise sales areas to ensure execution according to Belk’s Best Practices, and analysis of business operations and expense management.

I was directly responsible for supervising and managing overall operations to exceed projected sales growth, while controlling expenses. In additional, I supervised and managed all training initiatives for management and new hires for the Atlanta East and West District.

I was the driver of total store sales, the customer experience, overall operational excellence and the brands high performance selling culture which included developing goals, setting a plan in place, and executing to successfully exceed projected sales goals while controlling expenses.
