- Led two members in four-month partnership projects for two top global beverage companies as a team leader. Benchmarked competitors, created product development strategy, facilitated client discussions in English and built consensus on the strategy and its implementation plan between six executives from two companies - Drove a management decision on a proposed business unit strategy for a top global appliance company as the leader of a three-member team over five months. Created overall storyline, defined workstreams, and oversaw synthesis of consumer analyses drive by team members. Had one-on-one discussions every week to help each member develop professionally and as individuals - Reorganized client products to improve consumer satisfaction in five-month project for a Japanese top travel agency. Analyzed consumer behavior quantitatively and convinced management to shift their focus to long-term profit. Client introduced products based on our recommendations from April 2018

- Developed metal business unit strategy for a top Japanese conglomerate, playing a key role in designing analyses, analyzing profit pools, and assessing the client’s core capabilities, and suggesting best areas of focus - Led Japan module in a multi-nation due-diligence project on kitchenware, reporting to a Chinese principal. Developed hypothesis for the answer, conducted expert interviews and market attractiveness analyses. Convinced client of the unattractiveness of the Japan market, helping them make right decision not to acquire the target

- Developed Tokyo HQ restructuring strategy for global top retailer based on wide-ranging analyses. Created compelling presentation in English and built strong executive-level relationships to get buy-in for sweeping changes driving $5M in cost savings. Obtained top 10% evaluation for this project - Analyzed the effectiveness of promotion activities with sales uplift by promotion type for a top global beverage company and proposed cost optimization solutions to the client. 15-30% unit cost reduction was achieved

- Researched machine learning and developed a new method for detecting places from GPS trajectory with Java. Developed location history storing application and conducted internal alpha testing - Developed new fast encryption method for personalization algorithm and presented it at a conference. Patented two inventions related to data mining and encryption (Patent No. P5965873, P5860827)
