Yogesh Chavan

I am working as a Post Graduate Engineer Trainee (PGET) in the EDRC department of L&T Construction, Transportation Infrastructure IC, with responsibilities in both landside and airside design. My work primarily involves pavement design for airside facilities as per ICAO and FAA guidelines, and for landside projects using IRC and MoRTH standards, along with international road design codes as required. In addition to pavement design, I am also engaged in grading and geometric design following ICAO and FAA guidelines. My role includes preparation and submission of design drawings, as well as site coordination to ensure smooth execution of projects. I actively utilize advanced design and analysis software such as FAARFIELD and IITPAVE for pavement design, and Civil 3D and AutoCAD for geometric design and detailing.

I worked in Global Traffic Solutions Pune as a Trainee Engineer (Intern). I have handled many projects related to Transportation planning & Traffic Engineering related projects.

During my 2-month internship at The Ideal Construction Company, I gained practical exposure to various construction processes and methodologies. My role involved monitoring the construction progress in accordance with approved design drawings, ensuring that execution aligned with project specifications. I also observed and supported the implementation of safety measures on-site, which enhanced my understanding of safe construction practices. This experience provided me with valuable insights into project execution, quality compliance, and site management.
