My intervention within the IMS team (Materials and Surfaces Engineering) has the role of reinforcing the technical support on PVD deposits and the characterization of thin films. CIRIMAT (Centre Interuniversitaire de Recherche et d'Ingénierie des Matériaux) is a multidisciplinary research laboratory interested in the study of the major families of materials from design to in-service behaviour. My research work at CIRIMAT, UMR CNRS 5085, was part of a project involving academic and industrial partners. The final objective of this project was the realization by additive manufacturing of a compact reactor/exchanger with high efficiency for the production of dihydrogen. These installations are subject to strong environmental constraints (oxidation/corrosion). Thus, I was interested in studying the oxidation behaviour of Inconel 625 produced by additive manufacturing (LBM process) compared to the conventional production method (forging). Tasks performed : - Carry out bibliographic research - Organise and manage test campaigns - Develop, prepare and characterise samples - Communicate results (technical reports, project review)
